And here's what it looks like now!
The photo below is from the hallway looking into the dining room.
And this one is taken from the kitchen looking towards the living room.
Remember these steps?
Here's what it looks like now:
I converted it into a pantry! All it's missing is the door but that will be coming shortly. Right now I have all my house flipping supplies organized on the shelves (and a box of Cheez Its) and it's working out swimmingly. So far I think this pantry has taken me the longest time to work on/figure out than anything else. In total I probably spent a couple hours just standing and staring at it and thinking about how I was going to turn stairs into a pantry but I'm super pleased with the results I came up with.
For those wondering the color on the walls is Smoked Oyster by Valspar and I absolutely love it! It's a taupey gray color and it's divine! Much better than the salmon and green color it used to be don't you think?
A Little Bit of Randomness:
- I think I'm going to have to take a break for a little while on my Makeup Monday and Whatever Wednesday blog posts. The only reason is because I have been working double overtime on the flip house and worrying about the other posts (and feeling like a failure when I don't have time to blog) has been getting me bent out of shape. So for now if you see posts other than flip house posts then just consider them a bonus. I will try to focus on getting a flip house post up every Friday though. I think I will be able to at least do that until this house is complete (which isn't too far, actually) and then my posts can go back to normal.
- I don't know about anyone else but I'm loving this change in weather. Even though it was overcast all day today I don't care because at least it's not 10 degrees outside anymore.
- Southern Charm is back on TV and I am absolutely obsessed with that show and I cannot wait until next Monday night for the next episode. It is hands down my favorite reality show OF. ALL. TIME. Kathryn and Thomas have me hooked! It's like watching a train wreck and not being able to look away.
