The biggest thing that's been accomplished since the last update (and one I'm perhaps most proud of) is I insulated the bathroom walls. I did it all by myself! I've never done anything like that before and I actually enjoyed it. It was kinda fun minus the itchiness of the fiberglass. I only have a couple more sections to put up on the walls but I'm waiting for the plumbing to be run into the bathroom first before I can finish. We also purchase a new tub and shower combo and have it set in place. Wish I could post better pics but the bathroom is so narrow that this is the best I can do.
A Little Bit of Randomness:
- I'm just getting over an allergy illness. For a little over a week now I have been miserable with all the sneezing and having a constant runny nose. I haven't had a cough except for the last few days but today my cough is almost non-existent now. It hasn't helped that I've been hanging around the family farm and riding in the tractor during harvest time.
- I need to get my Fall fireplace mantle underway. I'm slacking. Perhaps I will do that next after I post this blog?
- I've been waiting to burn Fall candles until the first day of Fall but the problem is I can't smell very good right now because of my allergies. I feel totally ripped off that I can't enjoy them yet because Fall candles are definitely my favorite ones of the whole year.
- I've been loving Wendy's Asian Cashew Chicken Salad. If you haven't tried one yet, you must.
- For some reason whenever I make the bed and go to put on the fitted sheet I always grab the wrong corner. Every. Single. Time. I wish beds were square and not rectangular that way there is no short side or long side. Gah!
