Vitacost Haul and Comparison to Target (Is it Worth it?)

Time for another Vitacost Haul!  Here's what I bought this time....

I love shopping at Vitacost!  Actually I love shopping online period.  Their prices are competitive if not better than most box stores, if you spend over a certain amount you get free shipping, you don't have to spend so much time, effort, and gas to shop (or deal with annoying people), and it gets delivered straight to your door.  What could be more convenient?

For household and some personal care items I always choose Vitacost.  Here's what I bought this time around along with a comparison as to what it would have cost me if I went to Target to buy these items.

1.  Method Daily Shower Cleaner $3.69  (At Target this costs $3.19 plus tax which bumps it up to $3.48 where I live).

2.  Nature's Way Alive!  Once Daily Women's Multi-Vitamin Ultra Potency 60 Tablets $12.99 (Target does not carry this brand).

3.  Seventh Generation Tall Kitchen Bags 13 Gallon 2 Ply 30 bags $5.09 (I could not find this at my Target).

4. Ecover Ecological Automatic Dishwasher Tablets 25 Tablets $4.09 (Target does not carry this brand).

5.  Alba Botanica Natural Even Advanced Sea Mineral Cleansing Gel 6 fl. oz. $6.99 (Target price is $10.89 with tax where I live).

6.  Milas Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 16.9 oz. $6.29 (Target does not carry this brand).

7.  Jason Body Wash Pure Natural Purifying Tea Tree 30 oz. $9.59 (Target price is $15.03 with tax where I live).

8.  Method Foaming Hand Wash in Hibiscus Flower 10 oz. $3.39 (Target price is $3.26 with tax where I live).

Of my entire haul Target carried half of the items I purchased and if I purchased those items at Target my total bill would have been $32.66 compared to $23.66.  I saved exactly $9.00 on four items by purchasing them online.  Plus I saved time and gas by not having to drive there and back, time and frustration shopping in the store, and time loading and unloading bags.  Also Target does not even offer everything I like to purchase!

If you purchase $49 or more you get free shipping but it's so easy to purchase that amount even if you were to just buy household items.  Plus they even have a whole grocery section!  And on top of that
below is a link you can click on to get $10 your first order.  Whenever I've purchased I receive my order within 3 days which is really good in my opinion for shipping time.

Here's the link if you are interested in checking it out:

Plus their customer service is excellent!  One time I received a bottle that had leaked in shipping and they immediately sent out a free replacement to me, no questions asked.  To me Vitacost is worth it and I will continue to shop with them as long as they offer competitive prices and good service.
